House lawmakers this morning signed off on a full federal funding bill that adds to the Pentagon budget and the Navy's shipbuilding account in the initial fiscal year 2022 request.

The timetable for scrapping any of the Mayport vessels is unclear. Decommissioning dates are listed for eight Mayport LCSs, three in June and two in September. But two ships, USS Detroit and USS Little Rock, were supposed to be decommissioned in March of this year, but were put on different retirement schedules in 2021, but that didn't happen.
